Warranty Policy

1. Our Commitment to Reliability

At WYECS, we specialize in high-performance racing drone electronics designed for the most demanding pilots. We understand that reliability is everything in FPV, which is why we offer a comprehensive FPV hardware warranty against manufacturing defects on all our F722/F405 Flight Controllers and ESCs.

2. The Mandatory “Pre-Solder” Rule

STRICT NOTICE: To maintain the technical integrity of our products, once an item is soldered, tinned, or installed, it is no longer eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

  • Why this rule exists: FPV electronics are sensitive to heat and static. To ensure you received a perfect unit, you must perform a “Bench Test” before applying any solder.

  • How to Test: Connect your F722 Flight Controller to Betaflight via USB to verify the MCU and Gyro sensors are functioning correctly. For ESCs, use a multimeter to check for shorts between power and ground pads before the first battery plug-in.

3. Manufacturing Warranty Coverage

We provide Flight Controller support and warranty coverage for verified factory defects, including:

  • MCU failure to connect via USB upon arrival.

  • Defective onboard sensors (Gyro/ACC) verified in Betaflight.

  • Missing components or factory soldering defects on un-soldered boards.

4. Exclusions (What is Not Covered)

Our ESC warranty policy and general hardware terms do not cover damage caused by user error or external factors:

  • Crash Damage: High-impact failure is strictly excluded.

  • User Error: Reverse polarity (incorrect wiring) or short circuits caused by poor soldering.

  • Environmental Damage: Water ingress or overheating during the build process.

5. FPV Drone DOA (Dead on Arrival) Claims

If you receive a defective unit, you must report it under our FPV drone DOA policy within 7 days of delivery.

  • Required Evidence: Clear photos and a high-quality video showing the un-soldered item and the technical issue (e.g., failing to connect to Betaflight).

  • Inspection: Our technicians will review the evidence within 3-5 business days to authorize a replacement or refund.

6. RMA & Shipping Logistics

Once an RMA is authorized, the item must be returned in its original packaging. Please note that original shipping costs and return shipping fees are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.
